How To Make Cute-Shaped Eggs

First of all, this entry will be written in English for the Birdie Know It All Tutorial Contest by Gisele Jaquenod. You can check out about the contest right here. I decided to make something for the contest which is on “How To Make Cute-Shaped Eggs”. So, here it goes..

Step 1

Put the eggs inside the pot. As you can see i wrote chokilala.com and draw Mr. Happy on the eggs just to show the originality of this tutorial. Lol

Step 2

Fill up the pot with lots of water

Step 3

Now, boil the eggs for about 15-20 minutes

Meanwhile, these are the egg moulds use to create shapes for the eggs. You can buy it online from here

Step 4

Put the cover on to speed up the boiling process

Step 5

After that, turn off the heat and let the eggs cool down for a while

Step 6

Peel off the egg’s shell while it is still soft

Step 7

Put the egg inside the egg mould

Next, close the egg mould tightly

Step 8

Put them inside a bowl of water to let the eggs form their shapes

Step 9

Tadaaa! Here is the final product!

Additional Step

I just noticed that there is a new rule for the contest

This guideline meant to see you, or someone in your family let’s say, with the final product, but please not just HANDS because there’s no way to know whose hands is it. I know this might sound a bit like a pain, but it’s to claim the authority of the tutorial.

Instead, I use my cat because nobody’s around + I still don’t take my bath at that time *sigh*. Hehe. Cat is also consider as family member right? So, here is Kiki with the Cute Shaped Eggs~

Only 3 left, because I already eat one of the eggs without noticing the rule. Lol. And of course I use plastic wrap for the photographing session. The picture is not so clear. Oh, how I wish I own a DSLR!

And before that, this is actually my 2nd attempt as my 1st attempt of “Making My Blog Grows” turns out to be overgrown! My actual plan was to grow some mung bean and make it grow from the holes forming the word chokilala.com. But sadly it doesn’t turn out to be the way that I expected

So, I change the plan and make this tutorial instead. Haha. That’s the reason I joined this contest so late, because my 1st project was ruined. So Gisele, you still may consider this entry right? Lol. Oh btw, I received the Best Buddy Blog Award from her lately. Thanks a lot!
